The file enus dbfilesclient spell dbc could not be opened

In my opinion and with limited knowledge on 'delegation' the risk associated with allowing the privilege seemed higher than using sql authentication.

If a SQL Server user is logged in using Windows authentication, the user can read only the files accessible to the user account, independent of the security profile of the SQL Server process. For information about enabling a user account to be trusted for delegation, see Windows Help.

If you want to use a domain account read the article 'Enable computer and user accounts to be trusted for delegation' in Windows 'Help and Support'.. I'm having the same type of issue.

I can bulk load the same file into the same table on the same server using the same login on one workstation, but not on another. I get this error:. Still this one workstation is getting the error. Since the same login is being used on both workstations and it works on one but not the other, the issue is not a permissions issue. I can also have another user login into the bad workstation and have the bulk load fail, but when they log into their regular workstation it works fine.

Any ideas on what the client configuration issue is? These are the version numbers for Management Studio:. NET Framework 2. Operating System 5. I'm having a very similar problem to yours and you are the only one who has mentioned this problem with clusters. Did you get to solve it? Sign in. United States English. Ask a question. I cant extract the listfile that's inside of this MPQ. Also tried the same with an world. When files within an MPQ are unnamed or unorganized often this means that you are missing the standard Listfile for that version of the game. When you provide MPQeditor with the matching listfile for your data, it will be able to list, organise and identify otherwise cryptically named or unknown files.

On this page, there is a download for a 5. It also contains a listfile for 4. I needed to Click the Add Listfile button, didnt saw him before I also tried starting it "as Administrator" but that changes nothing.

EDIT: Problem solved. I downloaded new full clients for MoP and Cata and now i can extract everything i want. Use the following bcp. It was the false and misleading error.

But what to do if you specify the correct name and still receive this error? All you need to do is to give SQL Server access to the folder. Here is how you can grant all necessary permissions. Connect and share knowledge within a single location that is structured and easy to search. Operating system error code 3 failed to retrieve text for this error.

Reason: I dont know if you solved this issue, but i had same issue, if the instance is local you must check the permission to access the file, but if you are accessing from your computer to a server remote access you have to specify the path in the server, so that means to include the file in a server directory, that solved my case.

To keep this simple, I just changed the directory from which I was importing the data to a local folder on the server. The Agent task completed successfully :. Such a double hop falls under the restrictions of Constrained Delegation and you end up accessing the share as Anonymous Login and hence the Access Denied.

To resolve the issue you need to enable constrained delegation for the SQL Server service account. See here for a good post that explains it quite well.

See here. Remember to undo any changes especially running as sa. If nothing else works, you can try to change the bulk load into a scheduled task, running on the database server or another server that has bcp installed.

I did try giving access to the folders but that did not help. My solution was to make the below highlighted options in red selected for the logged in user.
